What is the New Year Brass Reset?

A 3-day live workshop to help you reset your sound, rebuild your fundamentals, and reconnect with your instrument after the holidays. We’ll focus on simple, effective tools you can use immediately—no pressure, no judgment, just clarity and consistency.

All brass instruments welcome: trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba.

Class 1: Grace & Re-Emergence (Jan. 6)

• Why returning feels hard (and how to give yourself grace)
• How to use breathing, buzzing, and long tone exercises to rebuild a foundation

Class 2: Grit & Skill (Jan. 8)

• How to practice with intention and track real progress
• Ways to implement flexibilities, flow studies, and articulation to return to technique

Class 3: Longevity & Artistry (Jan. 11)

• Build a full, sustainable practice routine for the rest of the year
• How to reclaim musicality and artistry using melody, expression, and etudes

Includes:

  • Access to all 3 live Zoom sessions

  • PDF warmups + guided exercises
